General spawn rates are based on players and how many generals they have, the less the generals collected, the more of a chance. The number of mobs is dependent on the number of players near the dolmen, this can increase as more players arrive.ĥ. But players will usually interupt that pattern.Ĥ. I think if left to their own devices, spawning is counter clockwise around the zone. They will stay up about 10 minutes if left alone.ģ. Dolmens will pop in about 20 minutes if no player triggers them. Sometimes, the respawn timer is closer to 10 minutes, not sure why.Ģ. They are on a 5 to 6 minute respawn timer, this may have been extended slightly but the rotations in Auridon and Alikir support this time frame. Summerset geysers are only on a timer, I think, they're independent from each other.ġ. In Southern Elsweyr, there's only two dragon spawn locations, so they alternate. they don't wait for the previous one to die, and I'm not sure whether the order is the same every time. In Northern Elsweyr, the dragons do a full round of all three spawn locations before starting the next one, but there can be several up at the same time, i.e. Summerset geysers and Elsweyr dragons work differently. I've done dolmen rounds in Deshaan (almost) by myself for an hour at a time, and it worked every single time. Go to some zone at a time where and when no one is doing dolmens, and test it for yourself. A dolmen can only start (cultists spawning) if the previous one has closed - either by a player, or (probably) by timing out. There are _never_ two dolmens up at the same time, even if no one closes them down. But once you have worked the sequence out, it'll be the same. close one dolmen and hurry to the second one, and if the cultists aren't spawning there after like 10-20 seconds max, it's the other way around. There's no way to find out except trying it out, i.e. Just like in the Alik'r, they will _always_ rotate one after another in a specific order, it's the same in every other zone. I have a new character that I am taking around to Dolmens and the Cultists appear when they are going to appear, whether it is because enough time as passed and I can trigger them when I walk up, or, the other dolmens in the zone have been taken down. There _is_ a set order to them. That being said, I did get into a Clockwise rotation in Alikir the other night, so perhaps the rotation can be influenced by the don't think that is the case. Auridon for instance, they are pretty much in a straight line North to South. And, in emptier times like the middle of the night, I have come up to Dolmens and had them trigger as I approach.įinally, if your going to try to rotate through the zone for the Dolmens, go Counter Clockwise, or as near to Counter Clockwise as you can. However, I have camped a character near a Dolmen and done some RW stuff and had the Dolmen come up after a period of time when no other players appeared to be around. So, perhaps there is a timer of sorts in case no Dolmens are triggered. So, I don't think there is a Dolmen Timer per say, at least to the extent it gets to work very often. In Glenumbra, I never tried to get to the North or South Dolmens, instead I would just camp at the Central one (which is near the Werefolf World Boss) and it would take about 5 minutes for that Dolmen to come up. But, this could be the lack of players in the zone, or the amount of time it takes someone to get to the wayshrines to get to the Dolmens. In places like Stormhaven or Greenshade which have dolmens far away from Wayshrines, the frequency does not appear to be anywhere as near as fast. Now, these are zones that have Dolmens close to Wayshrines. I have also noticed this in Deshaan and Auridon and Grahtwood. As we get to the next wayshrine, the next dolmen is already coming up. In zones like Alikir, we can take out one Dolmen, then sprint the wayshrine and go the next dolmen. I have done some Dolmen Rotations in quite a few zones.
